1. The Insect King

In silent halls among the thrones, with meek feet shuffling past the thorns. We stand as servants, peasants and serfs among the insect court which lay in golden ribbons and robes before us. There is a breeze from the vaulted windows which gives the golden flags enough strength to stretch and show the horrid hornet threaded in blue; the tyrannical arthropod; the insect king.

2. The Stroke Of State

These are the lives of the weak and the oppressed. The masses which call out for justice. In silent and darkened rooms they planned for months (even years) to overthrow the insect regime. They met under the name Myriapoda. They chose this name to represent the myriad of lives which fell upon the building of the cruel empire. These were the anarchists. the rabble-rousers which were to bring about change for a ten thousand legged organism.

3. The Insect King (2)

In silent halls among the thrones with my feet shuffling past the thorns. The insect king, the horrid hornet sits in shimmering robes. I come from the land. I come from a family of farmers. My father, his father and his grandfather. My family has seen many kings but I was born into this life. My parents once told me stories of older times. I sometimes imagine myself living a thousand years ago, what it would be like and what I would eat. I think so much about the past but never about tomrorow. Today is a good day. I know exactly what I am going to say when they ask me. I have been running it through my mind for the past month. Of course they will be angry and shocked and they will want to know why I did what I did. and then I will say "I am the son of peasants and I know what is happening in the villages. That is why I wanted to take revenge, and I regret nothing."
